As for the everyday Carly? I'm naturally a doer. If something needs organizing, coordinating, fixing or making prettier, chances are I'm already halfway through it before anyone asks. I move fast, notice the little details and have a habit of adding an extra touch—even when nobody technically requested the “extra.” I love a clean, peaceful home, meaningful celebrations, good conversations, fun themes, lots of laughter and, obviously, anything pink. I'm always looking for the fun in things because life—and definitely Catch Carly—should never feel boring.

When I was laid off in the summer of 2026, Philip reminded me that maybe it was a blessing—maybe this was finally my opportunity to do what I wanted to do instead of only what I had to do. So I asked myself: Who is Carly, and what would doing “me” actually look like?

The answer became Catch Carly. It brings together the things I'm most passionate about: creating meaningful, stress-free events; bringing calm to cluttered home spaces in a judgment-free way; and creating a corner where I can do what I do best—which is talk! I'm a detailed storyteller who loves connecting with others, so really, giving me a microphone was the most logical next step. I've dreamed about having a podcast and building Catch Carly for many years, and now I finally get to see what it can become.
